Rady Children’s Hospital is once again delighted to be the beneficiary of the Fourth Annual San Diego Charity Cup Soccer Tournament – a tournament where everybody wins!

As San Diego region’s only health system dedicated solely to children, Rady Children’s specially qualified staff and physicians provide a full continuum of care, from treating mild illness and injury to more complex medical issues and severe medical emergencies. We are also committed to preventing illness and injury, and the staff at our Center for Healthier Communities work in partnership with parents, families, schools, physicians, child care providers, community organizations, government, local businesses, educators and coaches to promote child health and wellness.

The money raised through this tournament will help to support our Center for Healthier Communities, a leader in advancing community-based solutions to some of the most important health issues facing our children and youth today. Since its inception in 1996, the Center has developed major initiatives in the areas of maternal and infant health, child and adolescent safety, oral health, nutrition and healthy lifestyles and positive youth development; contributing to a reduction in the number of children suffering from preventable illnesses and injuries.

The Center has launched a number of innovative programs, gaining both local and national recognition for facilitating practical and successful community health initiatives and mobilizing individuals, organizations and systems to combine forces to create healthier communities for children.
